The Review : Membership of The School Of Hard Knocks
The School Of Hard Knocks
It maybe over 1 year ago when I found this channel on Youtube.
At first, I thought this was just another attention-grabbing channel, using words like "money" "millionaires" and "billionaire" to gain views.
It was catchy, provocative, and, at the same time, very interesting to hear from people I had never met in person.
However, honestly, I was looking at through a negative lens. I judged them, thinking, 'They don't care about environment issue; all they care is making a money,, etc,,'
So, I stopped watching.
Yes, I kept seeing their updates and occasionally clicked on their videos. Even though I still had that negative filter, something about them felt genuine.
And then, I started to watch again.
This time, I found out they started to talk about God.
They ask, "Do you believe in God?"-a question they hadn't asked before.
To my surprise, 10 out of 10 people in their interviews had a deep, unwavering belief in God- more than anyone else I knew.
They say "God is everything"...
At first, I assumed this was just another catchy channel feeding into people's desire for wealth.
But now, I see it differently. It's a gathering of people who wholeheartedly believe in God, with their all heart, strengths, and soul. And I realized-it's not about "money" the way people usually think, and I used to think...
It's about the true meaning of life,
It's about living with purpose, fulfillment, fully..
I ended up joining their community, Unlike the catchy mood on Youtube, I can listen people's stories more in a deeper way. This is real. Their stories are real-not because they're trying to sell courses or products whatever.. but because they've walked the path ahead of me themselves.
Now, I appreciate The School Of Hard Knocks-their vision, and the opportunities they provide to meet and listen to those I never would have met before.
When I was young, there was a TV program called "Success Era". It was a documentary that introduced successful people from all fields, sharing their journeys from childhood to where they are now. Every Friday night, I never missed an episode in my teenage years. I didn't watch TV at that time.
But when I entered my 20s, distractions-drinking, fleeting pleasures-pulled me away. I lost that fire and wandered for a long time.
Now, I realized that fire has been within me since I was little.
After long detour, my soul's journey finally begins.
Thank you, God.
I will just follow you with everything I have for the rest of time You have given me.
